Maldonado-Ruiz, Roger Alexis
Overview
Dr. Roger Alexis Maldonado Ruiz earned his degree in Chemistry, Bacteriology, and Parasitology from the Faculty of Biological Sciences at the Autonomous University of Nuevo León (UANL). He graduated with honors from the Master of Science program in Immunobiology at the same faculty and completed a research stay at the Multidisciplinary Institute of Cell Biology at the National University of La Plata, Argentina. He obtained his Doctorate in Science with a specialization in Molecular Biology and Genetic Engineering, graduating summa cum laude from the Faculty of Medicine at UANL. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Unit of Experimental Medicine and Advanced Therapies at the Institute for Research on Cardiovascular Diseases (IOR) of the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM), where his primary focus is the interaction between neuropsychiatric disorders and cardiometabolic diseases.
