PhD in Engineering with emphasis in Logistics (UWarwick, UK). Master's degree in Economics (UNal, COL), and Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering (UDFJC, COL). Certificated in EMI-Skills® (UCambridge) and PMP® (PMI). Dr Garrido has taught undergraduate and graduate courses on Logistics, Production, Risk, and Analytics at various universities in Latin America. Also, as a visiting scholar, he has contributed to the Rosario University (COL) and the David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies (UHarvard). He has participated in research groups such as the Business Transformation Group (UWarwick, UK) and the PIT group (UMNG, COL) (COL). Dr Garrido has published scientific articles in reputable journals. Prior to fully engaging with academia and working as a professor/university administrator, he held responsible positions and worked as a consultant in real sector companies. Dr Garrido is fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish (native). Since July 2022, Dr Garrido has been a full-time professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering at ITESM in Monterrey, NL, Mexico.
