Currently, I am a Full-Time Professor at the Economics department at ITESM Campus Puebla.
My academic degrees include a B.A. in International Business at ITESM (Campus CDJ), a B.Sc. in Applied Mathematics at University of Texas at El Paso, a M.A. in Economics at Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez, a M.Sc. in Mathematics at University of Texas at El Paso and finally I obtained my PhD in Economics at the School of Economics at the University of Nottingham in 2021.
My main research interests are Theoretical Microeconomics and Political Economics. In the last six years, I have accumulated extensive experience delivering undergraduate and postgraduate classes, tutorials, and dissertation supervision. During my PhD studies, I delivered undergraduate tutorials as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Then, I was awarded the Graduate Teaching Fellowship for the 18/19 academic year. In September 2019, I was hired as a Teaching Associate/Fellow at the School of Economics at the University of Nottingham. Given the positive teaching evaluations, I was awarded the GTA Teaching in Excellence Award for several consecutive years in 2017/18, 2018/19, and 2020/21. Unfortunately, the 2019/2020 academic year evaluations were suspended because of the pandemic.
