I am a semiconductor materials scientist with more than ten years of research experience. I have expertise in synthesizing semiconductor nanomaterials and thin films, analyzing material properties using advanced characterization methods and fabricating thin film solar cells. I showed strong abilities in designing and executing research projects, laboratory management skills, and teamwork. Currently, I am working as a professor at Instituto de technologico y estudios superiores de Monterrey.
In 2016, I completed my doctorate from CINVESTAV, Mexico City. From 2017-2018, I worked as a temporary researcher in the CEMIE-SOL project funded by SENER-CONACYT at IER-UNAM. Later, I continued my research as a postdoctoral fellow at IER-UNAM until 2020 by grabbing the prestigious DGAPA fellowship. Later, I received a postdoctoral fellowship from CONACYT as FIME-UANL as host university for 2021-2022.
I have been an SNI (Sistema Nacional de Investigadores) member since 2017 and an SNI level 1 researcher since 2021. I have published research articles in international indexed journals and presented more than 20 papers at National/ international conferences. Also, I have participated SNI evaluation committee.
