Overview
Dr. Raúl Loera-Valencia studied Chemical-Biological Analysis at the Universidad Autónoma de Aguascalientes. He completed his master¿s degree in molecular biology at the Institute of Scientific and Technological Research of San Luis Potosi (IPICYT) and his doctoral degree in Molecular Biology at IPICYT. He conducted a doctoral research stay at McMaster University in Canada. He did postdoctoral research for 6 years at the Karolinska Institute, Sweden, focusing on the cellular and molecular mechanisms of Alzheimer¿s disease related to cholesterol. He is currently a research professor at the School of Medicine and Health Sciences at Tecnológico de Monterrey. He has 844 citations and an H-index of 12.
