Vera-Tizatl, Adriana Leticia

Overview

I majored in Bionics Engineering and got a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (Bioelectronics Specialty). I am particularly interested in: bioinstrumentation, targeted therapies for cancer treatment, tissue engineering, translational research, and cellular biology of cancer. I am mainly experienced on electroporation-based therapies for the treatment of cancer (10 years of experience), in vitro and in vivo experimentation, computational modeling and finite element method analysis, microscopy imaging (epifluorescence, confocal, SEM, TEM), and image processing, I am skilled at establishing cooperative collaborations crossing institutional and international borders. As a result, I have participated in scientific projects in Mexico, the United States of America, France, Slovenia, and the Netherlands. My professional goals target the development of cutting-edge technology oriented to health care; and new treatment alternatives for cancer and medical aids.
