Diego Galego is a Professor of Political Science and International Relations at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Puebla. He earned a double-degree doctorate in Social Science from KU Leuven, Belgium, and Public Policies from the University of Aveiro, Portugal. His primary research focuses on analysing the policy process with particular attention to social movements' impact on policymaking.
Dr. Galego is the author of the book "Queering Public Policy," where he delves into the influence of Brazil's LGBTQ+ movement on public policy development. Currently, he serves as a member of the Public Governance Institute (IO-KU Leuven), the International Public Policy Association (IPPA), the American Political Science Association (APSA), and the Portuguese Political Science Association (APCP).
