Bravo-Alfaro, Diego Alberto

Overview

Diego Bravo is a SNII Level I researcher specializing in the development of nanoengineered materials and systems for health applications. He holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science from CINVESTAV, a Master¿s degree in Biochemical Engineering from the Technological Institute of Veracruz, and a Bachelor¿s degree in Food Industries Engineering. He has published over 20 scientific articles and has teaching experience at both undergraduate and graduate levels. In the industrial sector, he served as head of production in a dehydrated foods company. Throughout his scientific career, he has worked on various lines of research related to the valorization and transformation of bioactive compounds, including the enzymatic modification of phospholipids to enhance their physicochemical and functional properties. His current research focuses on the design of nanomaterials for targeted delivery of bioactive compounds, aimed at addressing diseases of national relevance.
