Aviña-Bravo, Eli Gabriel

Overview

During my Ph.D. at LAAS-CNRS in Toulouse, France, I designed and validated an intelligent embedded system for physiological and biomechanical measurement, aimed at therapeutic interventions and health prevention. I have collaborated with academic and industrial partners in France and Mexico on projects involving machine learning, physiological monitoring, and applied robotics.
I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at Tecnológico de Monterrey, specializing in biomedical engineering, electronics, and artificial intelligence. My work focuses on developing embedded and intelligent systems for healthcare applications, combining biomedical instrumentation, signal and image analysis, and machine learning.
I enjoy bridging engineering and life sciences to create innovative and accessible technological solutions. As an educator, I teach courses on bioinstrumentation, electronics, and machine learning applied to chemistry, biology, and biomedicine. I believe in training the next generation of engineers with an ethical, interdisciplinary, and human-centered perspective.
