Overview
Ph.D. in International Relations, Business, and Diplomacy from the Autonomous University of Nuevo León; Master s in Global Business; Master s in Organizational Administration; Specialist in International Business Management; Bachelor s in Business Administration. Professor in the Department of International Business at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Sinaloa Campus. He also serves as an editor for scientific journals, a peer reviewer for Scopus-indexed journals such as Cuadernos de Economía, Estudios Gerenciales, and Retos, an international guest lecturer, a consultant for SMEs in international management and finance, an academic peer reviewer for the Colombian Ministry of Education, a peer reviewer for the international accrediting body EQUAA, an SNI I researcher, and an Associate Researcher at the Colombian Ministry of Science. He is certified as an internal auditor in OAS/CTPAT and ISO 14000-1. He received the Grand Prize (2021) from the Association of Marketing Programs (ASPROMER). He has received scholarships from the European Center for Populism Studies (2024) in Belgium, Dalhousie University (2024) in Canada, the National Council for Humanities, Sciences, and Technologies (2017) in Mexico, and the German Academic Exchange Service DAAD (2010) in Germany. In his role as a researcher, he has led projects for associations such as ACOPI, CPAE, and ASPROMER in Colombia, where he has secured external funding. His research interests include: international trade, international business, and the Pacific Alliance,, business internationalization, and marketing (digital, pink, and sensory). He is an active member of the Ibero-American Franchise Research Network (REDIFRAN), FAEDPYME, and Academy of International Business AIB.
