Cortez-Angulo, Lilia Artemisa

Overview

Lilia Artemisa Cortez Angulo PhD, is a full-time professor at the Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Sinaloa. She is currently an Associate Professor at Management and Leadership department of the Business School and is part of the Circle of Distinguished Professors. She has a doctoral degree in Management Sciences from the Universidad Autónoma de Occidente, with a doctoral stay at EGADE Business School (Monterrey Venue, N.L.) and ESADE Business School (Sant Cougat del Vallés-Barcelona Venue); She has a Master's in Business Administration with a minor in International Business and she is a Certified Public Accountant (CPC), both degrees obtained from Tecnológico de Monterrey; She is certified in Retail Commerce by the University of South Carolina. She has participated in various international Congresses and Conferences, addressing the issue of business models and circular economy, discipline of her doctoral thesis. She participates in the research group in the thematic area of Social Innovation and Sustainability.
Professor Cortez-Angulo has a PhD in Management Sciences from the Universidad Autónoma de Occidente, with doctoral stays at EGADE Business School (MTY) and ESADE Business School (Barcelona). She has a Master's Degree in Management and is a Certified Public Accountant, both degrees obtained at Tecnológico de Monterrey. She also has a Certification in Retail Trade from the University of North Carolina and the Guadalajara Campus. She is currently a full-time professor at the Business School (Department of Management and Leadership) at the Sinaloa Campus of Tecnológico de Monterrey. She has 20 years of teaching practice at Tecnológico de Monterrey in the areas of administration, financial accounting and retail. She also has experience in academic administration areas in the undergraduate division, serving as a Department Director and as a Career Advisor. Active member of the Colegio de Contadores Públicos de Culiacán, A.C. since 2000 and a collaborator on the board of directors of the same College in the period 2006-2007. She obtained certification to practice public accounting from the Instituto Mexicano de Contadores Públicos (IMCP) in April 2003. She also had the opportunity to work at the Samuel Campos y Asociados, S.C. Financial and Accounting Advisory Office; as well as head of the Treasury in the Administrative Direction of the Sinaloa Campus. She has participated in various international Congresses and Conferences, such as EDINEB, CONGRESO DE INVESTIGACIÓN DEL TEC DE MONTERREY, CIIE, CUMEX and CIAO.
