Ventura-Molina, Carlos Augusto
Overview
Under my guidance, the information technology program had been accepted in the national excellence degree programs, a distinction awarded by CENEVAL (Centro Nacional de Evaluación para la Educación Superior) which the national organization that evaluates higher education and the Chihuahua campus, in particular has been one of the top three.
Since I became the head of this department, I have been teaching every year at the federal level with the National Science Foundation, working actively in the consulting and implementation of software solutions and offering workshops for small and medium size companies.
From the year 2005 to 2008, I became the national head of the IT School at ITESM, and again I was reelected as the national head in 2011.
Other duties as a head include lecturing in discrete mathematics, automata theory, database systems and software engineering, always getting excellent performance evaluations from my students, as well as consulting services. In the consulting area, I have developed applications for the local government and the local small business community.
