Díaz-Ramírez, Jenny

Overview

Jenny Díaz-Ramírez is currently a research professor at the School of Engineering and Sciences at the Tecnologico de Monterrey, Campus Monterrey. She is associated professor of the Industrial Engineering Department and belongs to the Sustainable Energy Research group. She has worked previously as a professor at Tecnológico de Monterrey (Toluca and Santa Fe), Universidad de Monterrey, and Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Cali, Colombia. She is an Industrial Engineer from the Universidad del Valle, Cali, Colombia. She holds an MSc in industrial engineering from Universidad de Los Andes, Bogota, Colombia, an MSc in operations research from Georgia Tech, US, and a PhD in Industrial Engineering from Tecnologico de Monterrey, Campus Toluca. She has been a member of the National System of Researchers of SECIHTI, SNII Level I, since 2015. She is the author and co-author of more than 40 research articles on topics such as education in engineering, applied optimization and statistics in health systems, air quality, energy efficiency in transport, urban mobility, and logistics.
