Sepulveda-Reyes, Javier

Overview

Lawyer graduate by Tec de Monterrey specialized on Public Law by Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Master in Business Administration by Universidad de las Américas Puebla, and Master in Humanities and Literature by Tec de Monterrey as well. PHD since 2016 by Escuela Libre de Derecho de Puebla. Professionally, Dr. Sepúlveda has developed a public career working as adviser for the Mexican federal government in both, criminal institutions and public administration entities; on the state government of Puebla, he was designated Undersecretary of Culture for the years 1999-2000. On the other hand, he also has been a law practitioner for the firms Paz Camacho, Sepúlveda y García- Fiol S.C. -Mexico City- and Ojeda & Sepúlveda, S.C. ¿Puebla-. Phi Delta Phi member since 1994 ¿García Rendón Inn-, Vicepresident of the Mexican Foreign Trade Council ¿South Inn- (2011-2014), and Coauthor of the collective work 100 años de vigencia de la Constitución Mexicana (2017). As professor, Dr. Sepúlveda sustains a twelve years expertise teaching Public Law, Contemporary Political Philosophy, Legal Theory, and Literature and Culture Studies, all subjects in Tec -Campus Puebla- where he was Academic Director of the Law Program for the period 2009-2010 and currently fulltime professor. His research lines are Justice Theory, Political Philosophy, Legal Argumentation, and Discourse Theory.
