• Tamir Bar-On received his Ph.D. in political science from McGill University (2000); attained M.A. and B.A. in political science from York University in 1991 and 1990 respectively • A member of the SNI – Sistema Nacional de Investigadores – Mexico’s National System for Researchers (2015-2020): • Author of Where Have All The Fascists Gone?, published with Ashgate in 2007 with foreword by leading historian of fascism Roger Griffin • Published second book in 2013, Rethinking the French New Right: Alternatives to modernity (Routledge, 2013) • Third book, The World through Soccer: The Cultural Impact of a Global Sport, published (Rowman and Littlefield, 2014) . Fourth book, Beyond Soccer: International Relations and Politics as Seen Through the Beautiful Game (Rowman and Littlefield, 2017). • Published numerous full peer-reviewed academic articles in prestigious journals such as Patterns of Prejudice, Totalitarian Movements and Political Religions, Journal of Contemporary European Studies, International Politics, and The European Legacy • Published articles in academic books • Considered one of world’s leading experts on the French and European New Right • Full Tenured Professor in Department of International Relations, School of Social Sciences and Government, Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education) (Campus Querétaro, Mexico), one of the highest rated universities in the Americas • Taught at Yale University, University of Toronto, Wilfrid Laurier University, and University of Windsor, and George Brown College.
