Martínez-Suárez, Julio César

Julio César Martínez Suárez has been an Associate Professor of International Business at the Tecnológico de Monterrey since 2011. He holds a PhD in International Business from the University of South Carolina. In addition, he earned a Master s degree in International Trade and Transport from the London Metropolitan University, receiving the 2008 Best Dissertation award granted by the Journal of Maritime Policy and Management. His research on political risk and internationalization strategies has been published in journals included in the Financial Times 50, a ranking that brings together the 50 most prestigious and influential academic publications in business, management, and economics. Prior to joining the Tecnológico de Monterrey, he held managerial positions in logistics and customer service within multinational companies.
