Overview
Is Director of Educational Innovation in the Vice Presidency of Academic Affairs and educational innovation from November 2018. She has a Phd in Educational Innovation and a master's degree in education with a speciality in Educational Technology. Is member of the Tecnológico de Monterrey since January 1992. In her career within the Virtual University, she was Director of communication, quality and re-engineering of processes, logistics and special services. In 2000 she participated in the creation of the model for online education as Director of academic operation and production at tec.com. She was later Director of instructional design and for 10 years she vas in charge of the educational technology department at Virtual University. Has been Professor in the area of communication, as well as instructor in courses in the area of education and distance education. She has participated in the definition of different models: corporate university, distance and blended learning. He has been responsible for the open resources, Mooc and video initiatives of the institution. In 2015, she was invited to be a member of the advisory council of COURSERA, the main Mooc platform in the world; in 2018 she began the project of educational spaces for the Tec21 model, for which she designed the guidelines and the deployment phase 1. She has coordinated innovation initiatives on immersive learning, telepresence with hologram effect and adaptive learning, among others.
