I am a member of the Mexican Association of Nutritionists, the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (ASPEN), the European Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (ESPEN) and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND). Prior to my current position, I was Career Director of same School of Nutrition and Integral Welfare and before that, I worked as Coordinator of Academic Processes at the Nutrition Faculty of the Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon. In both institutions I have served as a full-time teacher focusing my teaching activity on strengthening the skills and abilities of nutrition students. Since 2015, I received my appointment as Clinical Professor from TecSalud. In both my academic and administrative work I have achieved different recognitions and awards. Additionally, since 2001 I have practiced private consultation in nutrition along with Gastroenterologists and Internists. In 2012 I joined the multidisciplinary team of the Center for Liver, Digestive and Nutrition Diseases of the San José Hospital, offering nutritional care to patients. With this team I am also part of the Hepatic Transplant Committee of San José Hospital.
