Sánchez-Ruano, David

Overview

Dr Sanchez has a PhD in Design with the University of Dundee, Scotland. He completed his Master's Degree in Industrial Design at the UNAM, in the Eco-technologies area. He studied the BA degree in Industrial Design at the Universidad Atonoma de Aguascalientes. Currently he is research professor in Industrial Design at the School of Architecture, Art and Design of the Tecnológico de Monterrey Campus Guadalajara. Visiting Professor in Postgraduate Studies at the University of Plymouth, England and the University of Lisbon, Portugal. He is a co-founder of the Biomimicry UK network and participates as an advisor in the Biomimicry Mexico Network. He has organized workshops and conferences, and participated in national and international publications where he discusses topics on biodesign, biophilia, ecodesign, land art, service design, as well as philosophy and ethics for design. He received the "CASE Learning Teaching Award" from the University of Dundee in 2013.
