Dr. Saul Cuen has extensive experience in software development, artificial intelligence, data analysis, instrumentation, and sensor technology, applied to agro-industrial automation and frontier science in high-energy physics and astronomy. He is committed to sustainability in sectors such as agriculture, health, and energy. Dr. Saul Cuen combines computer vision, spectroscopy, and industrial traceability to classify fresh produce in real time and contributes to the development of instrumentation and data analysis in the Hyper-Kamiokande collaboration. He has decades of experience in postharvest automation, having commissioned more than 50 packing plants across the USA, Mexico, and Central America. His group develops deployable NIR and camera systems, detector electronics, and data pipelines; he also mentors students and delivers industry-ready tools.
