Overview
I was born in Prague, Czech Republic. During my life I have lived for short and long periods in the Czech Republic, France, England and Mexico. I obtained my bachelor's, master's and PhD degrees in Systems Engineering at Faculty of Economics and Management, Czech University of Life Sciences Prague. During my master's degree I studied one year as a part of ERASMUS program at ESDES ¿ Commerce and Management, Catholic University in Lyon, and during my PhD studies I studied one semester at Faculty of Business - School of Tourism & Hospitality, University of Plymouth. Since 09/2016 to 03/2021, I worked as a researcher at La Salle University in Mexico City. I teach courses of Decision-making theory, Operations research, Optimization methods and Research.
My research mainly relates to Decision-making and Operations research analysis in various areas with the main focus on performance and efficiency analysis. Expertise in using Multi-criteria Decision Analysis methods, such as Analytic Hierarchy Proces (AHP), Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) and Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) methods, among others. I am Member of the Mexican National System of Researchers (Sistema Nacional de Investigadores) of the National Council of Science and Technology (Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología - CONACyT) and International Society on MCDA.
