Pérez-Valverde, Maritza Iveth

Overview

Ph.D. in Science (specializing in Materials Science). In the academic field, I have taught undergraduate courses in the Nanotechnology and Engineering Physics programs. I have also participated in preparatory and admission courses for master¿s programs, reflecting my commitment to high-quality education at various levels. Currently, I serve as a mentor for undergraduate and graduate students at Tecnológico de Monterrey, supporting their academic and professional development. Additionally, I have participated as a member of thesis defense committees at both undergraduate and graduate levels. I have a strong ability to research novel materials and apply the scientific method in hypothesis validation. I have published eleven scientific articles and have five more in progress. Furthermore, I possess proven leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in academic and research settings. During my academic career, I completed a research stay at the University of Granada, Spain, where I established valuable collaborations that remain active to this day. This experience strengthened my ties with the international scientific community and significantly broadened my perspective in the field. I have developed both international and national collaborations with prestigious institutions, including SLAC-Stanford (USA), IACT-UGR (Spain), IMPMC¿Sorbonne Université (France), IFUAP-BUAP, IFUNAM, CNyN-UNAM, CIACyT-UASLP, IICO-UASLP, and IIT-UACJ.
