Franco-Valdez, Ana Dolores
Overview
Dr. Franco is an associate professor in marketing at the professional, master's, and doctoral levels. She holds a PhD in Management from Tecnológico de Monterrey, an MBA from Northeastern State University, and a Retail Certification from the University of South Carolina. She is a member of the "Transformation of the Retail Industry" research group at the School of Business. She has published several articles in prestigious international journals such as the Journal of Marketing Education, the Journal of Business Research, and the Spanish Journal of Marketing, among others. She served as Director of the Retail Center at the Sinaloa Campus, Program Director, and Department Director. She teaches courses and diplomas nationally and internationally, such as those taught at ESPOL University in Ecuador and LogicalRetail in Colombia. She has been a speaker at several international research conferences in Boston, Canada, Miami, and Florida. She developed the Retailing Laboratory model for the Sinaloa Campus. She has consulted for companies such as Calzzapato, Homex, Kuroda, and Productos Chata, and has led consulting projects for Coppel, Walmart Mexico, C&A Mexico, OXXO Plaza Culiacán, Procter & Gamble, Nestlé, Liverpool, and Casa Ley, among others. She is also the co-founder and manager of Commercial Real Estate Developments. She is a member of the Business School's Circle of Distinguished Professors and has been awarded the "Professors Who Leave a Mark" award by the ExA-Tecs Association for two consecutive terms.
