abstract
- This study evaluates the effectiveness of Andromeda, an augmented reality serious game designed to support learning of physics concepts. By integrating AR with game-based learning, Andromeda offers an immersive and interactive environment to explore energy and momentum conservation principles. Using pre- and post-tests with experimental and control groups (N = 118), results show that the experimental group achieved learning gains 18 points higher (0-100 scale) than the control group, a statistically significant difference (t-test, p=0.04). Student perception surveys also reflect positive attitudes toward the use of mobile AR learning tools. Overall, findings indicate that Andromeda significantly enhances conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills in undergraduate physics courses.
