abstract

  • The new educational model called TEC21 of the Tecnológico de Monterrey is based on Challenges that are prepared in each Training Unit (UF) which lasts 5 weeks. These Challenges are projects that are previously designed together with a training partner depending on the skills disciplines of the UF and the transversal competences that the student is expected to develop. A learning partner is an industry, government or civil society organization figure who is an educational partner. It is very important that the students of the last semester know how to implement and differentiate between the different project management methodologies, with this they will know in the future how to choose and combine them according to variables such as the multidisciplinary nature of the team, the type of client and the scope. of the project. In the present contribution the results of the use of agile, predictive and hybrid methodologies in an environment of multidisciplinary teams are shown, the results of the evolution of the students around the project management competence are compared. The results allow us to see if this educational innovation facilitates students' practical learning of project management methodologies, with real conditions and clients in a multidisciplinary environment. © 2023 by The authors.
