abstract
The educational model of the Tecnológico de Monterrey is based on the Challenge, to solve it a project is made, which is accepted by the training partner depending on the skills that the student is expected to develop. A training partner is a figure from the industry, government or civil society organization who is an educational ally. A critical element is that final semester students have fully developed knowledge and skills to manage multidisciplinary and agile projects. Evaluate whether the student acquires skills such as self-reflection, self-management, teamwork and communication, bringing graduates closer to entering the world of work and the university to validating their role in society as a generator of innovation, knowledge and qualified human resources. In this contribution, the results obtained from the evaluation by competencies in a multidisciplinary agile project management course will be shown. These competencies are shared or aligned with those proposed in the IPMA ICB 4.0 standard. The results allow us to see if through the management of real projects, in a multidisciplinary and agile environment, students manage to improve critical skills for good project management in just 5 weeks. © 2024 by the authors.
