To make this possible, a movement should be studied and then analyzed from the physiology perspective. It is natural to think that the information coming from a muscle is related to the movement this muscle generates. For this study, the relationship between electromyographic signals and the stages of pedaling on a fixed bicycle is presented. It is considered the problem of electromyographic signal classification from the data acquisition to the feature extraction stages, and the motion captures of the pedaling positions during one minute. Then, the compiled information is used to generate a classifier. This work is focused on the possibility of implementation during a pedaling cycle for rehabilitation or to improve the technique of an athlete.
