Teacher evaluation in the classroom is a multifaceted challenge, with no one-size-fits-all solution. While student evaluations provide valuable feedback, they are limited by students¿ inability to accurately assess their own learning. This reliance on student evaluations alone can lead to biased assessments, grade inflation, and misconceptions about learning. To address these issues, a multidimensional approach to teacher evaluation is proposed. This approach incorporates various assessment methods, including on-site evaluations, standardized tests, portfolio reviews, and student surveys, to provide a comprehensive view of a teacher's performance. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.
