Overview
I studied chemical engineering at the Instituto Tecnológico de Veracruz, graduating in 2006. I got a PhD in Environmental Systems and energy at ITESM Campus Monterrey, researching on the use of agricultural waste to generate energy. Within the professional area I have been involved in environmental consulting for the Environmental Quality Center at ITESM Campus Monterrey, for Innovación e Ingeniería Sustentable (IIS) and Ingeniería Sustentable y Medio Ambiente (ISMA). I have taught courses in company on energy efficiency and energy audits and participated in development of sustainable agriculture projects with hydroponics technique. I´m working now at ITESM Campus Puebla as Director of the program of Sustainable Development Engineering and imparting the courses: Technologies for the Efficient use of Thermal Energy, Ecoefficiency and Sustainable Process, Social Responsibility and Corporate Sustainability, Introduction to Sustainable Development Engineering and Sustainable Water Use II.
