Overview

I received honors in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2010 and obtained a master's degree with honors in Engineering with a specialty in Quality Systems and Productivity from Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2013. In 2006 I was invited to participate in the work and discussion sessions at the human rights table within the theme of the State of Law and Public Security in the Dialogues Mexico 2030 event in Hermosillo called by the then-elected president. From 2007 to 2010 I was a support specialist in the area of ¿¿Recruitment and Communication at Tecnológico de Monterrey, helping to grow the campus and achieving career goals. From 2011 to 2013 I was a support professional in the engineering department leading the accreditation processes of the programs before CACEI. In 2013 I was invited by the National Evaluation Center for Higher Education to verify and validate the questions for the Industrial Engineering exam. From 2013 to 2014 I served as the director of the Business Creation and Development career and from 2014 to 2017 as the director of the Industrial and Systems Engineering career. As of 2017, I am the Associate Director of the School of Engineering and Sciences at the Tecnológico de Monterrey in North Sonora. I have coordinated and developed different projects at Tecnológico de Monterrey: Coordinator of the Solar Energy vertical workshop with social impact for more than 150 students and more than 20 families in vulnerable situations benefited from the donation of solar cookers and water heaters; coordinator of the sustainability days for more than 100 students from three different campuses, coordinator of various academic projects linked to companies, among which are: BOSCH, FORD; LEONI Wiring Systems, Supplier City, Therval, ArcaContinental-CocaCola, among others. I have also participated and led educational innovation projects such as "Application of Learning based on challenges in the integration of three Industrial Engineering courses" and "Using augmented reality in computerized drawing to improve the ability of spatial visualization". I have participated as a speaker in the International Congress of Educational Innovation: in 2016 with the article Learning based on challenges: application for engineering education, in the 2017 edition with the article: The impact of experiential learning and integration of courses in the acquisition of knowledge and problem solving, in 2018 he presented: Problem solving methodologies, the layer that links the elements of a semester i, in 2019 with Characterization of a successful Trainer Partner in the Tec21 model and in 2020 with the Pedagogical Experience presentation in Environments with Simulation, Technology, Learning and Challenges (STAR). Also in 2019 I was co-author of the article Results analysis between embedded assessments in Semester i versus isolated assessments in education presented at the International Association For Educational Assessment Conference in Azerbaijan. In April 2020 I presented the article Perdurable and long-term knowledge retention with project-based learning at the EDUCON 2020 congress based in Portugal and participated as co-author in the Work in Progress paper: Women in Engineering and Science initiative: Raising awareness and monitoring gender equity that was accepted by the IACEE Continuing Engineering Education Conference to be presented in 2021. I am currently collaborating on the article "Findings for Flexible Digital Model Courses in order to enhance women participation in Industrial and Systems Engineering Courses" whose abstract was accepted at the EDUCON congress 2021. I have the diploma in Professional Project Management and Preparation for the PMP Certification as well as the Certification in Lean Manufacturing by the Tecnológico de Monterrey.
