Sáenz de Miera-Cuatlayol, José Antonio

Overview

Industrial designer with a master in Architecture and New Urbanism, both studied in Tecnológico de Monterrey. I have over 9 years of teaching experience combined with freelance furniture designer work. In addition to home and office furniture design, I worked at the Universidad de Ciencias y Desarrollo UDES, in the city of Puebla, Mexico; Where I held the positions of: Industrial Design degree coordinator, Administrative assistant and General Director of the University. Later I had a water purification company, which I had for about 2 years. Currently, I am Industrial Design career director in Tec of Monterrey, in Puebla, where I teach the courses: Design Fundamentals I and II, Models and Scale Models, Model and Prototypes Workshop I and II, and Advanced Digital Modeling. In 2015 I was recognized as the best evaluated teacher of the Department of Industrial Design and in 2016 I was recognized as an Inspiring Teacher. I was a collaborator of a NOVUS research project and I am leader of another.
