Ortiz-Alvarado, Carlos

Overview

Carlos Ortiz Alvarado studied Chemical Engineering at the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education, Campus Monterrey. During his career, he performed the project: conversion of heavy petrochemical waste to gaseous fuels. Has a Master of Science in Environmental and Energy Engineering at The University of Sheffield in the UK, graduated with distinction for his outstanding performance. His thesis focused on the treatment of plastic waste generated in the United Kingdom. He earned a scholarship by CONACyT, to study this degree. Currently is studying a Masters in Business Administration at TecVirtual. He worked in the Tecnológico de Monterrey Campus Cuernavaca at the opening of an Engineering program in Sustainable Development and was classified as an assistant professor in the institution. He is currently professor and academic advisor for the same program on Campus Santa Fe, where he shares his expertise in energy and sustainability.
