Uribe-Lam, Esmeralda

Full-time professor, regional coordinator of postgraduate programs in engineering sciences. Mechatronics Engineering by the Tecnológico de Monterrey Campus Sonora Norte. A Master's Degree in Manufacturing Systems from the Tecnológico de Monterrey Campus Querétaro and a Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences with a specialty in Materials Engineering by the Tecnológico de Monterrey Campus Estado de México. Her passion for current transformation materials and technologies has led her to specialize in the development of coatings using plasma-based technologies and to venture into additive manufacturing research. She collaborates with research centers such as CINESTAV, CIDESI and universities in various parts of the world, which has led her to carry out research stays in Curitiba, Brazil and at MIT in Boston, United States. She currently works as a research professor in the department of advanced mechanics and materials at the Tecnológico de Monterrey Campus Querétaro.
