My main interest is synthetic biology and genetic editing of organisms for the production of recombinants or metabolites of interest. I have extensive experience in gene editing of prokaryotes and eukaryotes, as well as various genetic engineering tools to be applied in the design of organisms to favor recombinant production and purification processes. Additionally, I have experience in the areas of proteomics, massive sequencing, development of attenuated virus vaccines and their characterization.
