Overview

I belong to the Tec de Monterrey since 2012, started as a teacher to teach, I am currently Director of the Department of Health Sciences. I feel very proud to belong to such a recognized institution.
My name is Daniela Gonzalez, I am a Parasitologist Bacteriologist Chemist by training and I have a Master of Science in Biotechnology with a specialty in plant genetic improvement. I belong to the Tecnológico de Monterrey since 2012. I started as director of the health sciences department and I am currently a full professor in the Biotechnology area on the Chihuahua campus. Among the activities that I develop at the Technological Center, the following stand out: I have several publications in the area of ¿¿educational innovation, I have presented these works at international congresses such as EDULEARN and ICBET 2022, I also have a publication in the Electronic Journal of Biotechnology for the article de Plastid transformation: Advances and challenges for its implementation in agricultural crops. On January 23, we were awarded the second place prize in RIE 360 where nine national universities participated in the project ¨Virtual Journey: virtual journey through bacterial infection, a 360 degree interactive 3D video tour¨, I am the creator and executor of the first in vitro culture laboratory within the facilities of the seed museum, I developed this project with my in vitro experimentation students; From 2016 to date I am the leader of the BioHack event (bio entrepreneurship event for IBT students), I am also the designer of the BT2004B block called In vitro experimentation¨, I have designed and executed several weeks in order to do scientific dissemination and use of detection of bacteria in industrial food, I am part of the multidisciplinary team of research stay ¨intelligent reforestation with the use of drones in the Tarahumara mountains, in order to generate seeds that germinate in shorter times. One of my great passions in life is transmitting my love for science to my students and being able to leave a mark that reminds them of their love for the planet.
