Cárdenas-Chávez, Diana Linda

Overview

Full Time Research Professor (Department of Bioengineering; Water Science and Technology Group; Water Center for Latin America and the Caribbean). Her main areas of research are the generation of value-added products from agroindustrial by-products and microalgae, characterization of microorganisms with potential applications in biotechnology industry and water treatment, and detection-bioremediation of emerging micropollutants in water sources. She also has experience in molecular biology and genetic engineering for gene expression analysis, recombinant protein production and enzymes with biotechnological application.
