Dr. Ladislao Sandoval Rangel holds a PhD in Sustainable Processes, a Master of Science with a focus on Environmental Analytical Chemistry, and a bachelor's degree in industrial chemistry, all from the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León. Dr. Sandoval has distinguished himself with over 20 published articles, as well as a book chapter indexed in Scopus and multiple presentations at prestigious international conferences. He has also actively supported 10 undergraduate and graduate students as co-advisor and has participated in more than 15 evaluation committees. Additionally, he currently holds the distinction of National Researcher Level I from the National System of Researchers, valid until 2027.
His experience includes national collaborations with institutions such as the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León and the Universidad Veracruzana, as well as international collaborations with the South West Research Institute and Florida State University. Dr. Sandoval has extensive experience in the application of the pyrolysis process for waste revalorization, along with a solid background in materials characterization and continuous work in the field of heterogeneous catalysis. Currently, his research focuses on carbon-based materials for CO2 capture processes.
Dr. Sandoval's work is driving new solutions for carbon capture and has the potential to significantly contribute to the development of sustainable technologies for industry.
