Mauricio Ramírez holds a bachelor degree in Mechatronics Engineering (2013), and MsC. (2015) and PhD. (2019) in Biomedical Engineering in Physics. Mauricio underwent two postdoctoral stays, at Tecnológico de Monterrey (2020) and University of Houston (2021), focused on Biometry & Smart Cities, and Neuroengineering respectively. In 2022, Mauricio became professor at Tecnológico de Monterrey, where he is Assistant Professor, teaching Biomedical Engineering courses. His research interests are Neuroengineering, Brain-Computer Interfaces, and Machine Learning applied to Biomedical Engineering. Mauricio is also faculty of the PhD in Engineering Sciences, member of the National Researchers System (SNII-1), faculty of the IUCRC BRAIN Affiliate Site at Tecnológico de Monterrey, and researcher of the Health Research Nucleus, in the flasgship project of Aging & Longevity.
