Peraza-Mues, Gonzalo Gaudencio

Overview

Gonzalo Gaudencio Peraza Mues was born in Mexico City. on April 1, 1987. He has a doctorate in Theoretical Physics from the Center for Advanced Studies of the National Polytechnic Institute (Cinvestav), a master's degree in Applied Physics from Cinvestav, and is a Physical Engineer from the Autonomous University of Yucatán. From September 2018 to September 2021, he worked as coordinator of the Data Engineering career at the Polytechnic University of Yucatán, where he has taught courses in the area of ¿¿data science and has participated in the creation and updating of the curriculum. He is a collaborator in the EdTech startup DevF, where he designs curricula for courses in data science taught across Latam. He has conducted research on self-organizing phenomena in granular media and more recently in urban systems. He is a member of the Mexican National System of Researchers, level C. He is currently postdoctoral researcher at Tecnológico de Monterrey, where he applies his experience in the areas of computational physics, complex systems and data science to the study of cities and urban systems.
