Lavariega-Jarquín, Juan Carlos

Hi, nice to meet you!. I received the B.Sc. in Computer Science and the MSC in Computer Science degrees from Tecnologico de Monterrey-Monterrey Campus, in 1987 and 1990 respectively. Then I went to Arizona State University, where I got my Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, in 1999. Currently, I am an Associate Professor at the Computer Science Department at ITESM-Monterrey Campus. I´m interested in Databases, Data Science, e-Health systems, Digital Libraries, and specification methods in Software Engineering. I have been member of the National System of Researchers (SNI-level 1 from 2006 to 2009) in Mexico. I am member of the ACM, senior member of IEEE Computer Society and the Upsilon Pi Epsilon Honor Society in Computer Science.
