Garza-Venegas, Jorge Arturo

University math teacher since 2012. I have worked at Universidad Metropolitana de Monterrey (UMM), Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (UANL) and Tecnologico de Monterrey (TEC) as a lecturer. Currently, I am a Full-time Professor at TEC Querétaro. I have taught 33 math courses at UANL, 4 at UMM and more than 30 at TEC, until now. Teaching is my passion because I feel very grateful to see the face of my students when they learn something new or that they regarded as difficult, a common situation in math courses. Concerning research, I have authored two articles in Statistical Process Monitoring (in collaboration with other SPM researchers) as a result of my postgraduate studies. I did a research stay at Institut Universitaire de Technologie of Université de Nantes at Nantes, France with Prof. Philippe Castagliola, a renown SPM researcher. I would like to continue some research works related to my doctoral studies (related to SPM, time series analysis and parametrical statistics), and continue learning new things to improve my teaching skills.
