Director of the Innovation and Transformation Program at the School of Engineering and Sciences of the Tecnológico de Monterrey. Co-founder and CEO of 3D FACTORY MX and CUSTOMED, technology development companies. He received his Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering (2013), Master of Science in Manufacturing Systems (2015), and Doctorate in Engineering Sciences (2019) from the Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Monterrey. He was a visiting researcher at the University of North Texas during 2018-2019, where he developed projects in Metal Additive Manufacturing. He has been nationally recognized with the National Entrepreneur Award in 2018 by the Ministry of Economy and as a Manufacturing Engineering Promise in 2017 by Expansión magazine. He is a Candidate in the National Researchers System, with over 30 research and education products. His research areas include Additive Manufacturing, Manufacturing Systems Automation, Robotics, Educational Innovation, Advanced Materials, and Medical Devices. He has international collaborations with Stanford University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, University of North Texas, and UC Davis.
