Dr. Salvador Hinojosa is a researcher specialized in the application of stochastic search algorithms and generative artificial intelligence to software engineering and development processes. He obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and his previous degrees from Universidad de Guadalajara.
He is currently a full-time researcher in the Computer Science Department at Tecnológico de Monterrey Campus Guadalajara. He holds Level I recognition from the National System of Researchers (SNI) and is a member of the Mexican Computing Society (AMEXCOMP). In his role as professor, he teaches undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education courses in Generative AI for Software Engineering and Software Architecture and Testing.
