This project is born out of the actions of the Educational Model Tec21, of Tecnológico de Monterrey, where our students work on the solution of challenges and projects. Professors from the center-south region organized a series of speed drone piloting and maneuverability competitions as an introduction to unmanned aircraft technology. Multi-campus students, being drone pilots, develop skills both in the virtual environment of the 'DRL Simulator' and in obstacle races implemented in the first person using the 'EMAX Tinyhawk III' platform. These events aim to motivate students to learn about drone technology, encourage them to develop precision flight skills, and provide teachers, both inside and outside traditional classrooms, with a fundamental structure to increase the quantity and quality of technological education. As a result of the activity, significant learning, and a considerable increase in the motivation of the students to use the knowledge practically and help their scout triumph in the competition were generated. © 2023 IEEE.
