  • Embracing challenge-based methodologies, such as Tec de Monterrey does, Investigation-Based Learning (IBL) on Course Undergraduate Research Experience (CURE) approaches are excellent strategies. IBL-CURE implementation in the first learning levels in universities as a methodology has been a prolific dare, for instance, during the first approaches to basic scientific and technical knowledge, students have been urged to solve several challenges in order to apply the theoretical knowledge to specific problem situations or to build different devices for competitions in several areas, however, there were not a methodology application in order to manage the knowledge or for seeking new data or even reliable data. Application of IBL-CURE to cut up a certain challenge to create a divulgation scientific paper as a finish deliverable graded, urges to every single student to learn about scientific search platforms, quotations methodology, the difference between technical and divulgation language, and how to read a scientific paper. © 2024 IEEE.
