Bourguet-Díaz, Rafael Ernesto

Overview

Full time professor since 2000 in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering (IIS). Research since 1996 on the reuse of knowledge in corporate complex projects that interweave engineering, business and public policy using Systems Dynamics and Systems Methodologies. Consulting to CEMEX Global Analytics 2019-2020 training data scientists in Systems Dynamics to integrate simulators to "Machine Learning" technologies in concrete operational planning in Monterrey. Research in Knowledge Management CEMEX-ITESM, 2010-2013, project leader: Business Dynamics, with recognitions as the best project, among 10 participating projects, in the three consecutive years. Also carries out research in educational innovation: evaluator of educational innovation projects in virtual reality and development of computer applications in 2020, and developing research on hybrid environments for the teaching and learning of mathematics and Systems thinking, NOVUS projects 2017-2018, 2014-2015 y 2013-2014. In 2015, Bourguet carried out joint research with the Faculty of Physical Mathematical Sciences and with the Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of the Autonomous University of Nuevo León through projects on precision agriculture and species using satellite technology and aerial vehicles, supported by SEMARNAT- CONACYT-AEM and the Agro-Bigdata Ibero-American Network and Decision Support Systems for a Sustainable Agricultural Sector. Facilitator accredited in the didactic technique of the "Case Method". He has the certifications in the program of Development of Teaching Skills (2010) and in Transversal Citizenship of the Ethics and Citizenship Training Program (2012). Acknowledgments by Campus Monterrey: 2014-2020 "Transcendence in the training of students"; (2) by alumni 2018 and 2013 "Transcendence that has left its mark on its graduates" Ex-A-Tecs; (3) by President of Tecnologico de Monterrey as "Lider" Professor. Other awards for academic performance 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013, 2011, 2010 awarded by Tecnológico de Monterrey and IIS Student Society. National Recognitions, three second places in Master Thesis Contests for the Electrical Industry Sector, one as a director and two as an advisor, 1990, 1992 and 1995. Advisor for Master thesis in Engineering Schools (EITI-9); Business and Administration (EGADE-3), and Government and Public Transformation (EGTP-2). Dissertation committee member in PhD thesis (EGADE-2) and (Educational Innovation-1); member on more than 60 master's thesis committees. Evaluator for publication of a book for UNAM on Prospective, 2016.
