Hidalgo-Reyes, Jorge Iván

Overview

Born and raised in the central region of Veracruz. He earned his degree as an Electronics Engineer, specializing in instrumentation and control, from the Instituto Tecnológico de Orizaba in 2006. He later got a Master of Science in Electronic Engineering (2008) and a Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering (2020), both with a concentration in Automatic Control from the National Center for Research and Technological Development (CENIDET). From January 2009 until March 2010, he worked as a specialist instrumentation engineer at RICCSSA, an oil business in Veracruz's northern region. Since August 2010, he has been a lecturer at Tecnológico de Monterrey's School of Engineering and Sciences, undergraduate academic division. He specializes in applied artificial intelligence, technology-enhanced educational evaluation, and innovative active learning. He has contributed to indexed journals and international conferences. He is an active member of both the IEEE and ISA.
