Orona-Domínguez, Luis Miguel

I have worked as a researcher in the GSI Helmoltzzentrum GmbH (Germany) and I am currently a PhD student at the Tampere University of Technology (Finland) where I also have studied a master's degree. I have been doing research for the past three and half years in the field of remote handling (RH) aiming to develop a framework to systematically define, analyse and develop RH tasks. I have experience working in industry as product design engineer in the area of mechanical applications. My skills include the use of 3D CAD modelling software and the development of 2D drawings for the constructions of parts, the use of machines in mechanical workshops (drills, lathes and mills). I also have knowledge in developing virtual robot simulations as well as some programing skills. My main research interest includes the mechanical/ mechatronic design process of products and systems and the development of RH applications.
