Dr. Federico Trigos participates in transdisciplinary academic activities with professors from various international universities such as MIT USA, University of Bath, UK, University College London, UK, Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand, University of Bolognia, Italy, He has been the leader of the team of guest editors for the Special Issues of the "International Journal of Agile Systems and Management" a) "Transdisciplinary Engineering for Agility in Sustainable Stakeholder Value Creation" TE2024. b) "Transdisciplinarity Engineering for Agility in a Sustainable and Better World", TE2025. Dr Federico Trigos has published three books: 1. Transdisciplinarity for a Better World, Proceedings TE2025, Mty, Mexico. 2. Engineering for Social Change, Proceedings of TE2024, London, England. 3. Finance in Private Family Businesses, Money Management and the Achievement of Family Goals, published in 2021 by the Mexican Institute of Finance Executives. Dr Trigos has supervised several master's theses at the Tec de Monterrey School of Engineering. Among the master's theses he has directed outside the Tec is that of Max Otto Berth (Operations Management at the University of Reutlingen, Germany), entitled "Transdisciplinary Approach to Disruptions in Vehicle Routing Problems", which was defended in February 2025. This thesis participated in the master's thesis competition of the Mexican Society of Operations Research in 2025 and won first place. Dr Trigos actively participates in the International Society of Transdisciplinary Engineering, where he has served on the Board since 2025. He was also the Program Chair of the TE2024 congress (London, England) and Conference Chair of the TE2025 congress (Monterrey, Mexico). Dr Federico Trigos has been an active member of the Mexican Society of Operations Research since its foundation. He has served on the board of directors on several occasions. He actively participates in the society's activities, such as its annual research conference presentations, and has also led workshops at the Spring School for multiple years.
