PhD in Information Science (Cum Laude Suitable 1991-1995) in the Department of Audiovisual Communication and Advertising II, Faculty of Information Sciences, Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Doctoral Thesis: Photomontage Visual Synthesis: History, theory and practice. Member of the National System of Researchers (SNI) since 2005, currently is SNI-1. He is currently Director of the Master of Communication (MCO) and Professor and Researcher Full Time Department of Cultural Studies ITESM-Campus Ciudad de Mexico, where he teaches the subjects of Photography and Photojournalism and Digital Image Department. It belongs to the National School of Humanities and Social Sciences ITESM. He has published several studies, including Photomontage book, Ed. Cátedra, Spain, 2008. In 2014 he published the book Photography and mobile devices, jutno with Maestro. Francisco Mata Rosas, editorial ITESM-Porrúa Print.
